8th International Conference and Workshop on Biological Barriers 
- in vitro tools, Nanotoxicology and Nanomedicine

21 March - 1 April 2010 at Saarland University


Dear all,

Our preparations for the opening of the Biological Barriers 2010 conference are running at full seed. The labcourses are fully booked, but for the time being, registration for the conference is still possible.

You are cordially invited to join the event. No participation fees are charged to students and members of Saarland University! Nevertheless, a regular registration is required (please refer to the website mentioned below).

This event is committed to the pulsating questions in the triangle of in vitro tools, nanotoxicology, and nanomedicine. Due to the increasing need to investigate the safety and potential risks of new nanomaterials a new area of science - nanotoxicology - is currently emerging. Although the expected answers might be different, nanotoxicology in many cases asks similar questions as nanomedicine and the same in vitro tools of biological barriers are obviously most relevant.
 
Moreover, I would like to draw your attention to the ELSEVIER complementary workshop on scientific writing and publishing on 27 March 2010. This might attract a broad group of students and scientists of all faculties and departments of Saarland University.
