As the first company-based education fund in Germany, the Festo Education Fund supports talented engineers and scientists of the future in an exclusive network - in the form of sandwich courses as well as normal student courses up to post-doctoral research. 

Education Fund enables successful, carefree studies

These days, highly qualified education is essential for professional success. A prerequisite is the fast and successful completion of degree courses. The Festo Education Fund provides financial support for undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as employees in part-time education, in the field of engineering and technology. It also offers a structured range of additional vocational qualifications and can provide access to a network of technically- oriented companies and highly committed professors.

• Who? 
  • Bachelor and Master Students of technical- and engineering programmes, including materials science, postgraduate and post-doc-researchers 
  
  
  

• The circle of eligible students: 
  • Because of the income-based repayment only students from countries with a similar income level can be supported.
  • These are: Germany, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Great Britain, Hong Kong, Ireland, Japan, Canada, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Austria, Singapore, Sweden, Switzerland or the United States of America.
  • For all other nationalities, provided that you haven’t lived many years in Germany, we need a guarantee from a German guarantor

• How much? A total of 40.000 € max. 
  • Undergraduate: 800 € per month contingent; 5.000 € lump-sum payment maximum.
  • Graduate:2.000 € per month contingent
  • Postdoctoral: 2.500 € per month, contingent. The maximum duration of funding is 48 months.
   
   

• Redemption: The redemption is individual and only starts after having received a job.
