Where do I apply?
- If you wish to apply for admission to the first semester of a first degree programme (e.g. a Bachelor's degree programme) and you are not a German national, please apply via the University Application Service for International Students (uni-assist). More information on the application procedure is available in the uni-assist information leaflet.
- If you wish to apply for admission to a Master's programme or for higher level entry to a first degree programme (i.e. you wish to enter the programme in a later semester) and if you are not a German national, please send your application directly to Saarland University.
- If you are an EU national, or a national of a country in the European Economic Area (EEA) and you wish to apply to study medicine, dentistry or pharmacy, please apply to the National Coordinating Office for University Admissions (Stiftung für Hochschulzulassung). Are there any application deadlines?
If your course of study begins in the winter semester, your application must be received no later than 15 July; if your course starts in the summer semester, the deadline is 15 January.
