GradUS is a quality assurance and networking programme being developed for doctoral researchers at Saarland University. The GradUS scheme offers doctoral researchers at Saarland University the opportunity to acquire useful supplementary qualifications and also aims to promote a collaborative, interdisciplinary and international doctoral research environment. The scheme covers such areas as:

• quality assurance in doctoral research programmes
• supplementary qualifications in both general and subject-specific fields
