Welcome to Saarland University!
The Guidance Centre for International Students (International Office - ZiS), which is part of Saarland University’s Service Zentrum Internationales, is there to help you find your feet as you begin studying or working at the university.

We organize a wide range of events that are listed in the ZiS CALENDAR OF EVENTS. You can register or apply for any of these events in Room 2.37 each weekday between 11 am and 1 pm.
The ZiS team is based at the Campus Center, Building A4 4, Level 2.

Events include: excursions, city tours, guided tours of campus, cultural and culinary focus days in the Mensa, cultural evenings in the student halls of residence, informal get-togethers and cultural events. You might also like to join our *you & me* buddy programme.

 

If you are new to Saarland University you might also be interested in our information booklet ‘Just Arrived?’. It can be downloaded from this page or you can pick up a copy in Building A4 2, Room 0.11, where you will also find our ‘WELCOME folders’ that contain lots of useful information for international students and visiting scholars.
