National cultural evenings

Dear students,
Every month ZiS organizes a national cultural evening at one of our on-campus or off-campus student halls of residence.

Typically the evening will include:

  • a brief introduction to the featured country by a student from that country
  • up-to-date information, photographic material, DVDs, film excerpts about the country being showcased
  • plenty of time for discussions and for attendees to get to know one another
  • music and dance, games and culinary creations from the featured country

The national cultural evenings are held either at Hall D, in the university’s main auditorium (Aula), at the Waldhaus hall of residence (Entrance  / Red Building, TV room) or at the Protestant Student Association Hall of Residence (ESG), which is located at Waldhausweg 7.
These events are free to attend and run from 7.30 pm to 11 pm.

If you are interested in having your home country featured at one of our national cultural evenings, please get in touch – we would love to hear from you.
