Dear International Students,

Once a month, ZiS organizes a daytrip to a nearby town or city in Germany, France, Luxembourg or Belgium. These trips typically include a guided tour of the location, visits to museums, galleries, concerts or exhibitions.
The excursions last a full day and take place on Saturdays or Sundays. Students are accompanied by tutors on these trips with each student paying € 15 to help cover costs.

Information on towns and cities

There is a lot to discover on campus. New students need to get to know the Study Counselling Centre, the Admissions Office, the libraries, the Mensa student refectory, the various campus cafés and much more besides. With such a lot to learn, new students don’t always find it easy to find their way around. To help newcomers get acquainted with the campus and all the on-campus services, ZiS runs monthly guided campus tours. If requested, the tours can be conducted in English, French, Russian or Arabic.

If you are interested in one of our excursions or in joining one of the guided campus tours, we recommend that you book a place as early as possible.
To book your place, please go to Room 2.37 in the Campus Centre.
Someone will be there to assist you between 11 am and 1 pm each weekday.
