Research

Research Area

The focused field of research of the Chair is the interface between Human Resources (HR) and Information Systems (IS). Thereby the Chair is the “Boundary-Spanner” between Human Resources and Information Technology, so innovative Information Systems in Human Resource Management („electronic-HRM“) are studied from the following point of view: the Construction is researched from the Technology prospect and Application – from the Management prospect.

Our Chair has been performing the project „HRM 4.0“ aimed at doing research of the IoT-induced changes in Human Resource Management and development of „Smart HR Services“.

Smart HRM – A Delphi Study on the Future of Digital Human Resource Management („HRM 4.0“): our final report on Delphi Study on the future of digital Human Resource Management to show significant results of changes in the personnel work due to Internet of Things is available here.
