Educating and fostering young research talent is a major priority at Saarland University. The Saarbrücken-based Graduate School of Computer Science is home to around 350 doctoral research scientists involved in projects spanning the entire field of informatics. Working in multi-nationality groups under the guidance of highly respected staff scientists, the young researchers learn to work in teams, to plan and execute their work in a structured way and to present their results in a clear and attractive manner. Each year, some of the most talented graduates from around the world compete to join the Saarland University's Graduate School of Computer Science.
