The Research Campus caMPlusQ is a joint initiative of the engineering institutes of Saarland University and of several institutes of applied research: Leibniz Institute for New Materials, Fraunhofer Institute for Non-Destructive Testing, Steinbeis Research Center Material Engineering Center Saarland and the Center for Mechatronics and Automation (further information).

Within a comprehensive research network, research and development activities should be carried out together with the industry via partnerships, cooperation and projects. Thus, scientific results become directly exploitable for innovations, and previously untapped synergies are made accessible for development (further information).
