Information on Molecular Medicine/Biomedicine for the public
- Over the past years Saarland scores superior within the International Biology Olympics. With a qualification-ratio of 36 pupils per one million habitants Saarland nationwide comes in first. The KoMM thanks Mr. Roman Paul (LPM) for his excellent engagement in promoting young people interested in Biology and congratulates the participating pupils. - The Roche Genetics Education Program developed an interactive CD-ROM to promote basic awareness of genetics in the general public and which offers an interactive tool to learn basic principles of genetics. The CD-ROM is targeted to a broad audience with an interest in human genetics and its applications in drug discovery and diagnostics. It may be obtained via the Roche home page.
