Supplementary Subject

Only students with English or French as their first foreign language and francophone students can take law as their supplementary subject. The study of the supplementary subject begins in the course of the basic studies. The lectures cover four semesters and are held by lecturers in the corresponding departments. Students will have to pass a preliminary exam in their respective supplementary subject as part of their final examinations. Each supplementary subject is divided into two branches:

The purpose of the supplementary subject is to systematically convey basic knowledge. Thus, in a future professional occupation the translator/interpreter will be able to familiarize himself with special subjects without additional assistance.
