Prof. Dr. Joachim Frenk specialises in early modern literature, in Victorian and contemporary literature and in cultural studies. One of his special research interests is Shakespeare.

Dr. Lena Steveker specialises in contemporary British fiction and popular culture as well as in early modern literature. Her doctoral thesis explores questions of individual identity and cultural memory in the fiction of A. S. Byatt. Her current research project (Habilitationsprojekt) focuses on the discursive interactions of theatre and news culture in early modern England.
