Recommended time frame: 2nd – 4th semester

This list includes the required readings for Transcultural Anglophone Studies/Neue Englischsprachige Literaturen und Kulturen. We strongly recommend that you start reading as early as possible during your studies. Be sure to check all of the reading lists required for this module.

The exam completes a 'Selbststudium' module. If you have not read all of the texts on the list closely and critically (including relevant secondary literature wherever applicable), you should not register for the exam. You should be able to compare/contrast the texts on the list and situate them in the broader context of Transcultural Anglophone Studies (TAS), its analytical perspective and its historical horizon. The TAS website offers a wide array of resources to accompany, facilitate, and support your independent study (Selbststudium) of these texts. If you wish to take a 'mock exam' to familiarize yourself with the exam process, please register for the TAS Colloquium (offered every semester).

This list includes the required readings for Transcultural Anglophone Studies/Neue Englischsprachige Literaturen und Kulturen. We strongly recommend that you start reading as soon as you have passed the exam covering "Leseliste 1".
