Experiment 2
investigates the recognition and identification of trends according
to more holistic aspects, examines the subjects' perception of deviations
from an ideal trend and analyzes trend comparisons carried out amongst
several trends.
Experiment 3 (

analyzes global comparisons, particularly the subjects' perception
of differences between mean values and variations amongst data sets, as
well as local comparisons and estimations (e.g. Point Reading).
Experiment 4
analyzes the subjects' perception of special relations that in some
way represent interesting features or points of reference, such as the
maximum value, the steepest rise and the greatest difference.
