Sommersemester 2022

European Integration II

In European Integration I, we learned about the meaning of this term and how it came to existence and developed particularly since 1945. We focussed on the European Union, which we also introduced as it stands today, taking a closer look as well on its institutions.
In European Integration II this summer term, we will build on this (you may however participate even if you have missed European Integration I). We will briefly summarise winter term's contents before diving into the work of the EU institutions.
What do they do? Who pulls the strings? How powerful are the Member States? Is it all politics or more of an administrative character? How are EU acts adopted - and what effects do these acts have? How does the Court of Justice work?

Termin: Freitag, 12-14 Uhr

Klimaschutzrecht in Europa
