Franco-German Studies: Cross-Border Communication and Cooperation (B.A.)

Programme schedule

As a rule, students will take 6 semesters to complete the Franco-German Studies programme and earn the binational Bachelor/licence degree. Students then have the option of continuing to study for a further four semesters to obtain the trinational Master’s degree. In the second and third years of the Bachelor’s programme, German and French students study together in mixed groups at Saarland University and at the Université Paul Verlaine in Metz.

In year 1, German-speaking students study in Saarbrücken, while French-speaking students study in Metz
Year 2 in Metz
Year 3 in Saarbrücken
