Afolabi Adekemi LL.M.

Afolabi Adekemi is a research associate and doctoral candidate at Saarland University and the Europa-Institut. His research interests lie in particular in International Law, International Dispute Settlement, International Investment Protection Law and World Trade Law.

Currently, Afolabi is conducting research as a doctoral student under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Marc Bungenberg, LL.M. His research focuses on how to ensure equal access to Investor-State Dispute Settlement for small and medium-sized enterprises. Furthermore, Afolabi participated in the FDI International Arbitration Moot in 2020 with great success.

Afolabi earned a Bachelor's degree from Lead City University Nigeria and an LL.M degree in International and European Law from the Europa-institut of Saarland University. He also has work experience in the legal and corporate services sector in Nigeria.
