Duration: 2021

As part of the eGov-Campus project for the development of an eGovernment education and training platform, the Chair of Legal Informatics is working on the sub-project Data Protection & Legal Foundations of E-Government together with the Chair of Public Law, Information Law, Environmental Law and Administrative Sciences at Goethe University Frankfurt a.M. of Prof. Dr. Indra Spiecker gen. Döhmann, the sub-project Data Protection & Legal Foundations of E-Government.

Within this sub-project, e-learning modules on the topic of data protection with special reference to e-government are developed and made available on the eGov-Campus learning platform after completion. The project is aimed at the practical education and training of employees from the administration. Via the eLearning platform, users will be able to participate in the learning units independently of time and place and gain in-depth knowledge in the areas of data protection law by means of a large proportion of self-learning phases. The results will also be incorporated into teaching in existing courses of study.
