Prof. Dr. Ralf Seemann

The research group Seemann deals with the geometry of fluid interfaces.

Subject of the research are

- (Switchable) wetting on topographic surfaces,

- discrete microfluidics,- fluid morphologies and mechanical properties of wet granular media.

As experimental methods we use e.g. atomic force microscopy, optical microscopy, micro - particle image velocimetry and X-ray tomography.
