Application deadlines
There is no general application deadline abroad as each partner university sets its own deadlines. For purposes of internal coordination, we ask you to apply until March 1 for a stay in winter semester, until September 1 for a summer semester abroad.
Please check the above list of partner universities for deadlines for application. Some deadlines may not be up-to-date, but the dates indicated may serve as a guide, as deadlines do not usually vary too much. If in doubt, feel free to ask us.
Please note
You may not participate in the Master’s programme in Conference Interpreting and Translation at the University of Geneva and at Heriot Watt University in Edinburgh. If you are enrolled in our Master’s programme, you are free to apply to these universities, but exclusively for their Bachelor’s programmes.
Please make sure that you check the website of the respective partner university to find out whether classes are restricted to Master or Bachelor students. If you have not yet completed your Bachelor’s degree, please make sure you exclusively submit applications for universities offering a Bachelor’s programme. Otherwise, we cannot guarantee that you will be allowed to attend classes there. Master’s students who apply to a host university with a Bachelor’s programme only, please be advised that the credits you obtain abroad may not be recognised in our Master’s programme.
