I.DEAR Materials at a sight

The new cooperation programme I.DEAR offers master students of material science and engineering at the participating universities the possibilty to spend their second year of their Master’s programme in Argentina or in Germany, which will be funded by the CUAA (Centro universitario argentino-alemán).

It is planned to study at the foreign university during the first 6 months and afterwards spend a research semester or an internship in a renowned industrial company. This research activity can be combined with the Master Thesis. The programme is based on a cooperation between the Friedrich-Alexander Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU), the Universität des Saarlandes (UdS) and the Universidad Nacional de Mar del Plata (UNMdP).

After successfully completing the first year of graduate studies in Saarbrücken, students will spend one year in Argentina


After 4,5 years of studying material science at UNMdP, students can spend one year in Germany
