Application VSU Sonderprogramm

The application for this special programme for Ukrainian pupils is done completely online on the website of Saarland University, in the so-called SIM Portal. The following information is specifically for applications to the VSU MINT, VSU Geisteswiss. and VSU BWL programme.

To apply, you need the following documents (as PDF):

  • Passport or ID card
  • Your school leaving certificate from 2022 in Ukrainian original language and a (simple) translation into German or English (Svidoctvo pro zdobuttja povnoji zahal'noji serednoji osvity)
  • Your proof that you are registered as a refugee
  • Your proof of residence in Saarland (e.g. city registration "Meldebestätigung")

To start the application process, please first register in the SIM portal with your email address. Please note down your username and the password that you will create yourself.Next, log in to the SIM portal and create an application via the button "Vorbereitungsstudium UKRAINE, Schulabsolventen 2022".

You will then open a questionnaire which you must fill in. You will also have to upload the required documents and then submit the application online.
If you meet all the requirements, you will be admitted to the selected special programme and you can then proceed to enrol online. You will receive detailed information for this online enrolment with your admission letter.

Important: it is not possible to submit multiple applications. Please only apply for one of the three variants of the special programme.
