Scientific Presentation (in English)
Scientific Presentation (in English)
In this workshop, participants will be given the tools to improve their scientific presentation skills in English. The focus lies on the following:
- Creating and giving a presentation with your audience in mind
- Effective use of body language, posture, voice
- Using English appropriately and in a professional manner
Each participant will work with verbal and body language methods so that they can prepare and carry out presentations professionally, make contact with the audience, and clearly explain complex matters. The foundation for this is laid by a 12 Parameter Model specifically developed by textATRIUM for use in scientific presentations.
While acquiring these competencies, the parameters allow a maximum learning experience, as they are used by the participants and the trainer for their own observations during the individual presentations and for providing feedback to their peers. The all-round input keeps everyone mentally active and lets the participants quickly see which strategies are successful in scientific presentations.
This workshop is organized in cooperation with the International Office within the joint "GradUS international" programme.
