Entrepreneurship for Scientists
In this interactive workshop, we will explore your entrepreneurial potential. You will reflect on whether entrepreneurship is for you as an alternative path to academia or industry. We will give you insights about how the innovation process works and teach you basics in business development. The Kontaktstelle für Wissens- and Technologietransfer (KWT) of the UdS supports and motivates scientists to dive deeper into the topic of entrepreneurship since scientists are natural innovators and have the potential and skill to create their career path more flexibly.

Note: This workshop is planned as a face-to-face workshop, but depending on the pandemic situation at the time of the event, it may be possible to switch to an online-only workshop at short notice.

Trainers
Paul Weber works as a creative engineer, innovation master and remote innovaction facilitator. He is equally a professional coach and a jazz guitarist. During 30 years he has gained experience in project managemnt, leadership and business development in many well-known companies. He is appreciated for his passion for innovation and his empathic coaching skills.

Dr. Mara Schuler-Bermann is a molecular biologist and just lately transformed from an academic researcher into a project scout and start-up consultant at the KWT. After 12 years of academic research and her own corporation, she is now the contact person for scientific innovators at the UdS.
