Acquiring leadership skills for a career outside academic research

Prior to taking over first leadership responsibilities, the participants of this workshop will get to know major leadership principles and be acquainted with basic instruments of personnel management. They will reflect on their own role and realize how attitudes and behaviour of individuals affect the collaboration with others and what differences result from this with regards to working in an academic or non-academic context.

Following a theoretical introduction with exercises, the participants will have the opportunity to analyze various exemplary situations and test themselves in these situations.

This workshop is sponsored by the DAAD project "GradUS global".
