Dr Marion Detjen

Marion Detjen teaches migration history and migration-related research creation classes at Bard College Berlin and is the director of the „Program for International Education and Social Change“ at Bard College Berlin, that provides scholarships for currently 32 displaced students. She is an ethics advisor to the “Minor Universality” project. Her research interests include German post-war history, migration, exile, transnationalism, biography and oral history, gender, and the relationship between the private and the public.
