Confidence – Drive – Success

Confidence – Drive – Success

Self-awareness, confidence and assertiveness when appropriate, are qualities essential for success in almost every area of life. They determine what you attempt, the strategies you adopt and how others respond. Most importantly, they determine the outcomes of your actions. They can mean the difference between success and failure.

Maintaining an appropriate level of confidence is essential. This workshop covers effective ways to raise and maintain an accurate self-image, to increase confidence and to be positively assertive in a way that does not alienate others. This will allow you to achieve your full potential.

Topics of the workshop:

•    Self-awareness and how it is maintained
•    The problems of changing low self-confidence
•    Building and maintaining appropriate confidence
•    Assertiveness without confrontation

This workshop is offered to doctoral researchers from all disciplines by GradUS (project "GradUS global") in cooperation with the Saarbrücken Graduate School of Computer Science.
