I am currently investigating the behavioral and electrophysiological measures of language comprehension in a 'noisy channel' across the lifespan from a theoretical perspective of predictive processing.
To put in simple terms, I am trying to understand how the auditory quality of the speech you hear interacts with the words you 'expect' to come next while listening to a sentence, and how this interaction differs among individuals of different age groups.
Apart from the doctoral research, I find myself engaged in talking to strangers; reading literature, philosophy and social sciences; and playing uke.
