Michael Hoff

I am a software developer for DIaLOGIKa GmbH. Previously, I was a postdoc in Mathematics in the group of Prof. Dr. Vladimir Lazić and of Prof. Frank-Olaf Schreyer at the Saarland University. In my free time, I am still working on mathematical issues.

Mathematical Research Interests

I am interested in topics around algebraic geometry and computeralgebra as

  • K3 surfaces and Fano manifolds and their moduli spaces,

  • Experimental methods of computer algebra in algebraic geometry,

  • Local structure of the moduli space of vector bundles,

  • (Relative) canonical resolutions of curves,

  • Osculating cones to Brill-Noether loci.
