Topics

This is a seminar on recent advances in birational geometry involving topological and étale fundamental groups. Potential topics include: structure results on varieties with nef anticanonical bundle, flatness and projective flatness on klt spaces, extension of reflexive differential forms, singular varieties with trivial canonical class. We will decide which preprints/papers to read on a weekly basis.
