Why do cancer therapies have different success rates in men and women? How do immune cells tailor their attacks on tumours? Dr. Hsin-Fang Chang from the Center for Integrative Physiology and Molecular Medicine (CIPMM) and the Center for Gender-specific Biology and Medicine (CGBM) at Saarland University has been awarded more than €330,000 in research funding from the prestigious Else Kröner-Fresenius Foundation (EKFS) to investigate these very questions. Das Literaturarchiv Saar-Lor-Lux-Elsass widmet dem luxemburgischen Schriftsteller Norbert Jacques (1880 bis 1954) eine Ausstellung. Unter dem Titel „Dr. Mabuse am Bodensee“ beleuchtet die Schau vom 9. April bis zum 23. Juni 2026 das vielfältige Leben und Werk des Autors, der als Schöpfer der legendären Verbrecherfigur Dr. Mabuse Weltruhm erlangte. [...]

Die Ausstellung „Rechte der Natur: Eine weltweite Bewegung“ zeigt ab dem 13. Mai in der Stiftung Demokratie Saarland eine Installation des renommierten Schriftstellers, Künstlers und Kurators Camille de Toledo, der von Mai bis Juli 2026 als Artist in Residence am Käte Hamburger Kolleg CURE zu Gast ist.
