Fellowships

The heart of the Käte Hamburger Research Centre is its fellowship programme. Each year, Saarland University will host up to twelve international scholars from the field of cultural and social studies. These research fellows will collaborate with the centre's directors and academic staff to examine how reparations are negotiated in culture and society and how processes of cultural reparation can alter perceptions of the world, influence self-conceptions and self-representations, and change ways of life. In addition, the Käte Hamburger Research Centre will support a number of artists in residence as fellows.

The fellows will be directly involved in the research centre's events and publications and are given the opportunity to actively help to contribute in shaping the centre's research programme.
