Our microscopes are part of the High Resolution Microscopy Facility.

Nikon AXR fast confocal microscope

The Nikon AXR fast confocal microscope is an inverted motorized scientific microscope with Laser unit (405nm/488nm/561nm/640nm lasers) and Galvano Scanner.

Extra-long working distance objective 40x with phase contrast
Water immersion objective 40x
Oil immersion objective 100X

Fluorescence filter blocks available:

Filter block for DAPI, Hoechst, AMCA, BFP, Alexa Fluor 350 (EX 387/11; DM 409; BA 447/60 for higher contrast)
Filter block for GFP, eGFP, DiO, Cy2, YOYO-1, YO-PRO-1 (EX 466/40; DM 495; BA 525/50 for a brighter image)

Epifluorescence Microscope

The Axiovert 200M is a widefield microscope for routine imaging.

The Clariostar Plus is equipped with with advanced LVF Monochromators, highly sensitive filters, and an ultra-fast UV-vis spectrometer.

Gonotec Osmomat 3000

Osmometer

The Osmomat determines the total osmolality of aqueous solutions by comparative measurements of the freezing point compared to pure water. The instrument requires very small sample volumes and can thus be applied for extreme measuring tasks. Its rapid readings allows serial measurements in a very short time.
