Register Courses for Summer Semester 2025

On this page lecturers, teaching assistants and course coordinators of courses in the upcoming semester can enter their details to register their courses with the Study Coordination of computer science. The information will be used to enter the courses into the course catalogue of LSF so they can be found by students of the different study programmes in the computer science department.

Basic or core lectures will not be collected via this form, but have already been scheduled with the respective course coordinators.

Advanced Lectures

I want to register an advanced lecture for the upcoming semester:

We will only process submissions from official university adresses (e.g. cs, coli, lst, ...) or institutes at Saarland University (e.g. dfki, mpi or cispa) adresses. Do not use external or private mail adresses.

Enter the official name of the course. Recurring lectures need to keep their name consistent each iteration.
The number of credit points that can be earned with this course. If unsure, add a '?' in the field.
What kind of teaching sessions will the course have?
Lecturers that should be listed in LSF. One lecturer per line. The person listed first MUST be authorised to carry out examinations ("prüfungsberechtigt") at Saarland University.
Please set up at least a 'coming soon' website with very basic information about the course. This link will be visible to students in LSF. Later this page should line out the requirements for the students and content of your course.
Please describe the planned content of your course in a few sentences. This information will be included in the course catalogue.
Here you can write down any notes or requirements that did not fit one of the other fields.

Finally, submit the form. You will receive a copy of the entered data to your mail address.

Seminars and Proseminars

I want to register a seminar or proseminar for the upcoming semester:

SIC Seminar System

All seminars in the computer science department need to be entered into the central seminar system to facilitate distribution of students to available seminar seats. If you enter your seminar into the SIC seminar system, the lecture planning team will be automatically notified about your entry, enter your seminar into LSF accordingly and confirm this via mail. There is no need to register your seminar on this page anymore. The relevant deadlines for lecturers to enter a seminar will be communicated via mail and are visible in the seminar system after login.

You can login to the seminar system with your SIC account. If you do not have a SIC account yet, please write to the SIC IT support team, stating that you are a lecturer for a seminar, to get access.
