Transportation in Saarbrücken

We recommend traveling from the city to campus by bus. Available bus lines are 101, 102, 109, 111, 112, 124, 136, 138, and 150 to the “Universität Campus” stop.

We recommend the Tageskarte (day ticket):

This ticket also allows unlimited travel within the city.

  • 1 person – €6.40
  • 2 persons – €9.00

  • 5 persons – €12.80

     

There are three options for purchasing tickets:

  1. Saarfahrplan App (recommended)

    The app is available for Android and iPhone.

    The app allows you to purchase tickets directly and also provides information about schedule changes.

    (Alternatively, this website provides the same interface as the app.)

     

  2. Directly from the driver

    Ask for a day ticket to “Universität Campus” (“Eine Tageskarte nach Universität Campus”).

    Card payment is officially accepted but cannot be guaranteed.
