Ernst Röchling-Foundation

The purpose of the Ernst Röchling Foundation is to promote academic research at Saarland University, particularly in the field of European unification. A particular focus is on the promotion of academic research in the field of history with the aim of reappraisal.

The Board of Directors decides on all matters concerning the foundation. The members of the board are

• the President of Saarland University
• a member of the Röchling family community
• a member of the teaching staff to be elected by the University Senate
