Saarland’s universities invite students, staff and anyone in Saarland and the neighbouring regions with a love for dance to the University Ball, formerly known as the Winter Ball. Come and get moving to the music from the Saarland Police Big Band and DJ Moh. The ball gives attendees the opportunity to network and get to know new people in a relaxed atmosphere, whether on the dance floor, while strolling through the foyers or relaxing in the lounge areas.
Programme
The event will begin with a champagne reception at 7 p.m. and the evening’s programme will begin at 8 p.m. Music will be brought to you by the Saarland Police Big Band and DJ Moh. A varied food and drink menu will be available during the entire evening.
A shuttle bus will be available free of charge to take you from the Saarbrücken Rathaus (city hall) to E WERK and back (shuttle schedule to be announced).

The Saarland University Society aims to bring academics, staff and students at Saarland University into closer contact with alumni and sponsors, creating a network composed of a broad range of representatives from industry, politics and business that not only benefits Saarland University but everyone involved in the network. Through its events, the platform it offers on social media to exchange thoughts on relevant topics and its regular newsletter, the Saarland University Society brings together everyone who wants to ensure a lively and successful future for the university.
