The Department of Education of Saarland University (Germany) has established the Research Training Programme „Diagnostic and instructional support in AI based learning scenarios“ commencing 01 October 2025.
We invite applications for the following PhD projects until 22 August 2025:
P1: AI-supported diagnostics of effective strategic behaviour and AI-supported adaptive strategy training in complex problem solving
P2: Personalized interventions to increase physical activity-specific self-efficacy: An AI-supported support approach
P3: Promoting students' self-regulated learning: Potentials of AI-supported feedback systems
P4: Collaborative knowledge construction with multiple, distributed representations in peer-to-peer vs. peer-to-AI collaboration
P5: Knowledge co-construction in hybrid intelligence systems: the impact of generative AI-based conversational agents on (jointly) invested mental effort
