Hybridisierte Licht-Materie Zustände, die als Polaritonen bezeichnet werden, können entstehen wenn Moleküle in Kavitäten platziert werden. Durch genaue Auswahl der Frequenz des Lichtes können molekulare Prozesse aktiviert oder inhibiert, modifiziert bzw. kontrolliert werden. In diesem Theorieprojekt entwickeln wir hochgenaue ab initio Quantenelektrodynamik Coupled Cluster Methoden, die in der Lage sind, Moleküle in Cavitäten im Regime starker Kopplung prädiktiv zu beschreiben. Des Weiteren entwickeln und untersuchen wir den Einfluss eines externen Magnetfelds in beliebiger Orientierung und Stärke was als weiterer Regler zur Manipulation der Elektronenstruktur des Moleküls angesehen werden kann.
