Prof. Regina Ortmann, Ph. D.

Prof. Regina Ortmann, Ph.D., ist seit Mai 2026 Inhaberin der Professur für Betriebswirtschaftslehre, insbesondere Betriebswirtschaftliche Steuerlehre, an der Universität des Saarlandes. Sie studierte Betriebswirtschaftslehre an der Universität Paderborn und promovierte im Doctoral Program in International Business Taxation (DIBT) an der Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien.

Ihre akademische Laufbahn führte sie zunächst als Postdoktorandin bei Prof. Caren Sureth-Sloane sowie als Juniorprofessorin für International Business Taxation an die Universität Paderborn fort. Internationale Forschungsaufenthalte absolvierte sie an der Kenan-Flagler Business School der University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, an der NHH Norwegian School of Economics sowie an der Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Anschließend übernahm sie eine Professur für Betriebswirtschaftliche Steuerlehre und Controlling an der Universität Bielefeld und war Vertretungsprofessorin für Betriebswirtschaftliche Steuerlehre und Wirtschaftsprüfung an der Brandenburgische Technische Universität Cottbus-Senftenberg.

Darüber hinaus war Prof. Regina Ortmann, Ph.D., Teilprojektleiterin (B06) im Sonderforschungsbereich/TRR 266 Accounting for Transparency, in dem sie heute als Research Fellow tätig ist.
