The Chair of Quantitative Methods is offering a pre-course in mathematics for Economics students during the first week before the start of the winter semester 2025/26 (06.10.2025 - 10.10.2025).
The aim of the course is to ease the transition into economics studies for first-year students by reviewing key mathematical concepts from upper secondary school.

New DFG Project Funding

The project "Advances in Empirical Asset Pricing" by Prof. Dr. Hollstein joint with Prof. Dr. Marcel Prokopczuk from Leibniz University Hannover will be funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG) for two years from 01.10.2025. Prof. Dr. Hollstein's share of the funding is € 176.077.
