Jan Sass
Short CV
Jan Sass is a Ph.D. candidate at Saarland University. He started his Ph.D in 2023 after receiving his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in computer science with an emphasis on mathematics from the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, Germany. The topic of his master thesis was "File System Development for Zoned Namespace SSDs", which remains an active interest of his. His other research interests include file system development, distributed storage networks, and investigating the use of SmartNICs in storage networks.
