Ask the experts!

Unsure where to apply for support from Germany's BAföG student loans programme, how to go about applying for a scholarship, or which part-time student job might suit you best? Want to know more about financing a study-abroad stay, or what to do if you suddenly find yourself in financial difficulty? Then make sure you don't miss Saarland University's Student Finance Day!

Student Finance Day offers an easy, accessible way to get reliable information on all aspects of funding your time at university. It's designed for both prospective and current students (German and international) in all subject areas – especially first-generation (first-in-family) students and students experiencing financial insecurity.

This year's Student Finance Day will take place as part of Saarland University's Diversity Week 2026. Attendance is free and no registration is required.
