PSLLT2024 Conference

Pronunciation in Second Language Learning and Teaching Conference Iowa State University, Ames, September 2024

Dan flew solo to Ames, Iowa, for PSLLT 2024, a conference on pronunciation, listening, and speaking. Nobody from the team was there to check whether he practised the second as much as the third. On the way back, he got stuck in the Caribbean. What hardship!

Dan Honert, Hank Rademacher, and Meike Leist (and the rest of the team) organized and hosted this mind-blowing short conference (hmmm, there's that same language again ...). It was quite an event, especially coming hot on the heels of Teachers' Day.

Sprachpraxis Summer Party, 2023

The third annual shindig, this time in the Bldg. A5 3 foyer

The weather "sucked," to use a technical term, so we went inside (we did not end up trashing the place). Students and staff enjoyed the evening over chips & salsa, cake, and beer. Jake and Marie stopped by to tell tales of what it actually means to become a teacher. Matt King, Yannick Stark, and Hank Rademacher hammered out a few tunes on their guitars.
