Vorstellung - Neue Koordinatorin für das Interdisziplinäre Graduiertenkolleg Naturstoff-Forschung

Liebe Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmer, liebe Interessierte,

ich freue mich, Ihnen mitteilen zu können, dass ich ab Frühjahr 2024 die Koordination der Interdisziplinären Graduiertenschule Naturstoff-Forschung an der Universität des Saarlandes übernehmen werde.
Ich trete damit die Nachfolge von Prof. Uli Kazmaier an, dem wir für seine hervorragende Arbeit in den vergangenen Jahren danken.

Unsere Graduiertenschule bietet ein interdisziplinäres Doktorandenprogramm für Studierende der Chemie, Pharmazie, Biotechnologie sowie der Human- und Molekularbiologie. Mit frischem Wind und neuen Ideen möchte ich die Graduiertenschule weiter beleben.

Als Auftaktveranstaltung ist ein Sommersymposium in 2024 geplant, um die Interaktionen zwischen den Promovierenden zu ermöglichen und zu stärken. Nähere Informationen und der genaue Termin werden in Kürze auf dieser Website veröffentlicht.
Ich freue mich auf einen regen Austausch und spannende Forschungsprojekte.

WORKSHOP- Entrepreneurship for Scientists 25.04.2024

We would like to draw your attention to the following event:
GradUS and the Startup Service Triathlon will be running a compact, interactive one-afternoon workshop called
'Entrepreneurship for Scientists'.

What is this course about? Scientists are natural innovators. In this interactive workshop you will explore your entrepreneurial potential. You will consider whether entrepreneurship is for you as an alternative or complementary path to academia or industry. You will gain insights into how the innovation process works and how teamwork can really work for people and processes. You will also get a first overview of an established business idea development methodology.
The organisation Triathlon of the UdS supports and empowers scientists by showing you the possibilities to make your career path more flexible.

Time: 2pm till 05:30 pm at Building C7 4, conference room
