M.Sc. Laura Bengel
Research Interests
My research focuses on self-regulation and the use of self-regulatory strategies. I am particularly interested in how individuals adapt their responses to self-control conflicts based on context. Furthermore, I examine whether self-regulatory flexibility is associated with better goal attainment and greater well-being. Additionally, I explore which personality characteristics underlie individual differences in self-regulatory flexibility.
