The Irish Semester

Fáilte!
In the winter term 2010/2011 the chairs of British Literary and Cultural Studies and of North American Literatures and Cultures invite you to an Irish Semester, a celebration and exploration of Irish literature and culture. We will offer a range of courses plus a variety of other activities.

We are honoured to have Irish Guest Professor Dr. Eamonn O' Ciardha (University of Ulster) at Saarland University, who will also offer courses on Ireland. There will also be guest lectures, excursions, film nights and other cultural events in the Irish Semester. If you are interested in Ireland and Irish culture, contact the German-Irish Society Saarland e.V. and join in the craic!
