Dr. Feldbausch-Foundation
The Dr. Feldbausch Foundation (DFS) is a non-profit foundation under civil law based in Landau in der Pfalz. The main purpose of the foundation is to honor/ award individuals for outstanding achievements in the fields of science and research, art and culture. DFS also supports individual projects of cultural significance. The prize is awarded publicly.
Purpose of funding
The purpose of the foundation is to promote science and research, art and culture and broadcasting as well as education and training at state or state-recognized universities and colleges in Germany. The purpose of the foundation is realized in particular through the following measures:
- Awarding monetary prizes and awards for above-average work or achievements in law, business administration, economics, banking, broadcasting, cancer research, art and culture,
- Co-financing of university libraries,
- Purchase of works of art or loans of works of art to state-recognized museums or public institutions (cities, states, universities).
