Free daily meals in the Mensa for students in need
Students at Saarland University who are struggling financially can get a free meal every day in the campus canteen (Mensa). The scheme is coordinated by the General Student Committee (AStA) and Saarland Student Services (Studierendenwerk). Thanks to generous donations from the University Society (Universitätsgesellschaft des Saarlandes e.V.) and the Rotary Club Saarbrücken, many students currently facing financial hardship can now benefit from a free meal at the Mensa during the summer semester. If you would like to access this service, please get in touch with AStA (studienfinanzierung(at)asta.uni-saarland.de).
